• Graduate of Bachelor of Fine Arts, major in Advertising at the University of Sto. Tomas, Manila
  • Started his business 1981 and one of the pioneering members of the Fashion Designers Association of the Philippines (FDAP).
  • Elected as president of the FDAP for 3 terms (1998-1999, 1999-2000 and 2005-2006)
  • Won the “Piña Award”, for his outstanding Haute Couture designs in the Manila Fashion Designers Awards in 1999.
  • Won the grand prize for best costume in the “Carnival in Rio in Manila” and a trip to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2000.
  • Won in the Annual Flores de Mayo, organized by the Congregasion de Santisimo Niño de Jesus in 1993, 2001 and 2006.
  • In Manila, he mounted solo fashion shows namely : Viva San Diego (1999) and Disenyo at Musika with the UP Concert Chorus (2003).
  • In Honolulu, U.S.A he was invited to showcase his 2001 collection for the Filipino Business Woman’s Association.
  • In Jakarta, Indonesia he was invited to show his collections by the Filipino Community in Indonesia (FILCOMIN) in 2001 and 2003.
  • In Singapore, he represented our country at the Asean Fashion Connections in 1989.
  • Annually, he participates in the “Estilo Filipino, U.S. Fashion Group Tour” that showcases their Filipiñana and contemporary collections for the Filipino communities in New York, Los Angeles, Florida, Chicago, New Jersey, Missouri among others.
  • In London, together with selected FDAP Designers they were invited by the Overseas Woman’s Club to showcase their 2001 and 2002 collections.
  • In the local theater scene, he did costumes for “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe “, “The Wizard of OZ” , “Alladin”, “Rent”, “ The Sound of Music”, “Man of La Mancha”, “M. Butterfly”, “Little Mermaid” among others.
  • And movie costumes for ‘Sarah ang Munting Princesa” and “Cedie”
  • In his 2006 term as FDAP President, he led the group to publish the coffeetable book ‘Sagala, the Queen of Philippine Festivals, which they launch at the Century Park Hotel in Manila, The Philippine Consulate in Manhattan, New York and at the Pasadena Hilton Hotel in California, Eleven (11) of the FDAP members also mounted fashion shows, exhibits and participated in the Annual Philippine Independence Day Parade, along Madison Ave., in New York, U.S.A.
  • He is a regular participant of the annual Philippine Fashion Week.
